Just got back from Belize via the Carnival Glory. Booked this trip right at the tender pier. Had a wonderful time. It was my 13 yr old daughters first time. The crew is excellent. Tony was very funny and informative. Don't book through the ship... use Fab Belize Tours instead. It is much less expensive and they really treat you right. I'm hoping to be back in Belize in the next year and will do this again with them. Highly recommended. You also get to spend some time at a really pretty and quiet private island.

i visited belize on 3/28 a nd was met by bernie on the dock. i spoke with him and he informed me of what they had to offer. i was very hesitant bscause i had a 17 month old son and my wife.i am a boat captian, and also a certified lifegaurd in myrtle beach s.c. they loaded us onto a ferry and was tken aprox, 4 to 5 nautical miles away. ( be aware of some moderate chop) no problems though. once we got to the island i left my wife and child on the beach while i went out to the barrier reef with bernie. and the fellas. i wasnt worried about my wife at all. the crew was awesome and being a boat captian, i am very critical of how boats are run. they did a remarkable job. i would recomened them to anyone.

Hi Daniel

I just wanted to touch base with you to let you know what a spectacular snorkeling experience my husband and I had last Wednesday January 28th. We were very impressed with the professional and quite witted tour guides employed by you. Amon was our first contact with Fab Tours on the pier in Belize. His mannerisms and wit were what made us decide to go with Fab Tours instead of any of the other tours. Our guides Bernie and Tony (I am very sorry I cannot remember the name of the other 2 guides) were fantastic, and very knowledgeable. There was 6 of my family members including my husband Lloyd and myself who booked with Fab Tours, and were very glad that we did.

Keep up the great work – we will be returning to Belize within the next year, and would definitely book with Fab Tours again.

Thanks again for an awesome experience.

Have a great day

Daniel Fabro,

This past week my wife and I went on a snorkeling and private island tour with your group and we both said that out of our whole cruise and the other 3 stops that FAB Tours was our favorite. We had nothing scheduled and we met Amos on the dock and he immediately hooked us up on the tour to the private island. My wife and I have been snorkeling before and I am a search and rescue diver for the State of Indiana and I would have to say that the barrier reef that Belize has is a sight to see by all. What really hooked us though was the private island beach that we went to afterwards. It was clean, had enough room for people to do what they wanted to and the bar was priced right. Bernie the tour guide was very knowlegable and we watched him help an old lady who never snorkeled before and she said she had a ball. I spoke with Bernie and he said that there are places to rent on the island for evening stays. If you can will you get me more information about who to contact about renting the cabins or something on the island. I would like to get a place for about a week sometime in the next year for our family. Any kind of information would be greatful and I have told everyone that has asked where we went to find out about FAB Tours when they go to Belize.

Thanks
Matt and Verrie Tholen

Dear Sir or Madam,
My husband and I just returned from our trip to belize and we wanted
you to know what a great time we had with your fine workers. We took
one of yours snorkling trips on 1/15/09 and the crew made us feel
very safe and relaxed. Since this was our first trip out of the US
your crew made us well feel well taking care of. Bernie, Maria, and
Little Al were so helpful and they really did an excellent job as
tour guides in the water. Hopefullly, we will be able to see your
beautiful country again someday soon.

Just wanted to say Thank You for the wonderful time we had on Thursday with Maria, Bernie, Al, and Big Al

They were very professional and were friendly and helpful.

Since our Royal Caribbean snorkeling trip was cancelled due to "weather" we booked on the pier with one of your sales people and were not disappointed.

We will book again directly from you guys next time in Belize!

Congratulations to your wonderful staff for making our day in Belize memorable.

I went on the snorkelling beach tour with Fab Tours. I have now done the big 4 reefs.Kenya, Mexico, Australia, and now Belize. I
enjoyed them all, and all had their own way of doing a tour.Main note! is
that the Belize reef in my opinion was the best, it had the best plant
life, and just as many fish as the other reefs, and most important it
was the most natural, as it should be.All the other tours fed the fish
and this then became artificial as you were surrounded by fish as soon
as you entered the water. Okay if you like it like that, but on those
occasions I felt as if I was wearing the fish, not watching them in
natural surroundings. And the crew were great and the island FABULOUS.
REGARDS from a British tourist.DON'T MISS THIS ONE,all 6 0f us enjoyed
it.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I just wanted to take a moment and tell you how wonderful
your snorkel guides are and how knowledgeable they are. I can't remember
all their names but I went from the ship Carnival Miracle last
Thursday, Feb. 8th. Some of the names I remember were, Marcia, Albert and
Amon, but that was not all of them and I wish I could remember all the
names. They were exceptional people and made my trip even more pleasant
then it already was. I appreciate their knowledge and love for Belize.
Once again THANK YOU!!!!!!

While in Belize last month we booked a tour at the tender pier to the Island. The trip included a boat snorkel tour on a nearby reef and then concluded with a stop on the island for a little beach time. Our guide showed us some nice coral formations and a lot of fish. All in all, it was a pretty good tour. The Island is a mangrove covered island that was stripped of its mangroves and sports some gorgeous white coral sand. There are plenty of lounge chairs, food and drink, a small bar, and lots of photo ops. The island is not very far from the tender pier and I would guess that it is about a 15 minute run from the dock.
I would definately take this tour again.

When RCI cancelled our snorkeling tour due to inclement weather in
Belize Dec 4/06 (Explorer of The Seas) we toured the town in the AM and then
booked a similar tour after lunch with Fab Tours Ltd. They are right on the
main Pier of town, and Daniel A. Fabro is the Manager (info below). The trip was fabulous and there was NO way we could miss our ship as Fab's boats easily top 40mph and the ship merely putters along the tricky channels at about 11mph. A bonus is that Fab also took us to their private island...very nice.

We booked them at the tender dock for their Island and snorkel trip. Cruisinbum is right about the island being beautiful. Gorgeous place,
good service and this is the only place where I have been served a bag
of ice water. No cans or bottles, but sealed bags of water. The snorkel trip was pretty good. There was a lot of coral and small fish to see. I didn't think that it was taxing in anyway, but we are physically fit. Gin goes to the gym 3 times a week and my job has me climbing stairs and ladders every day.If we were creatures of habit we would take this trip again, but we try
to do something different each trip.

It Was A Physically Demanding Trip, But Everyone That Went Seemed To Enjoy It. As My Wife Is A Bit Handicapped, We Stayed On The Island (with
Facilites....bar, Changing Rooms, Lounge Chairs, Etc.), And Had A Wonderful
Day Playing In The Ocean And Just Relaxing Under The Shade Trees. So I
Can't Tell You Much About The Snorkling, But I Will Say The Boat Captain And
Crew Were Some Of The Nicest, Funniest, And Most Helpful People I Have Ever
Met!

We went to the island a week and a half ago. We took the tender into
Belize City. Just off the tender, we found Fab Tours. They offered a
snorkeling tour for $49. They took us to the island (some chose to just stay on the island). The rest of us went out further for snorkeling for about 45
minutes and then we went back to the Island. We then had about 2 hours
on the island before we had to load back into the boat and head back to the
tender port. We really enjoyed our day. It was great!
